||Creative Chakra Workshop
Calling all yogis, artists and creative souls! Join Kate on this magical journey to move your energy and find your creative self.
In this 2 hour workshop you will explore your inner creative essence and awaken your artist within!
Kate will help you open and tune into your chakra centers through a guided mediation and 1-hour yoga flow inspired to awaken your creativity and balance your chakras. Following the practice, Kate will guide you through a creative exercise where you will paint a watercolour picture of the chakra that resonates with you most.
Chakras are energy centers positioned throughout your body from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. Each chakra has its own vibrational frequency that is depicted through a specific chakra colour and function. Once chosen through the meditation and yoga class, you will paint the chakra of your choice and watch the beauty of it unfold with your paintbrush and intention.

||Restorative Thai yogassage with Carol & Dawn
Restorative yoga is an excellent opportunity to disconnect from the frenetic activity of daily life and let your speedometer return to 0 mph. It offers a welcome respite among all the turbulence of life and helps to prepare the mind and body for the inward stroke of meditation and deepened awareness. Moving slowly through the poses allows you to explore your mind and body at a steady and natural tempo.
During Thai massage the practitioner uses hands, knees, legs, and feet to move students into a series of yoga-like stretches. Traditional Thai Massage is based on energy flow along lines (energy channels), called "Sen". During this workshop Dawn will work on the energy points to relieve blockages and imbalances in the energy line in order to restore wellbeing. Muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure are also used during treatment. A combination of thumbing, palming, pressing and stretching result in a relaxing, therapeutic session, which restores balance and maintains good health. Traditional Thai Massage can be applied gently for relaxation, or deeply to relieve muscular and myofascial tension. Thai Massage offers freedom from stress, stiffness, and chronic pain.
These two practices are complimentary to one another and will be offered during this workshop. Carol will guide you into restorative poses for 5-10 min. while Dawn will move from student to student offering Thai massage techniques, to relieve stress and tension from the body. Restorative and Thai massage are a complete practice, combining meditation, breath work, relaxation, restoration and deep tissue releases to maintain health and promote a general sense of well-being.
Last but not least, to deepen your experience of healing and relaxation, we will be adding a little bit of reiki to this workshop.
For greatest comfort, we suggest wearing long comfortable leg wear and long sleeves as well as socks. Students should arrive at least 10 minutes before class. Please pre register and arrive early to ensure your spot!

||Moving into the Light
Satsang & Kirtan with Mark Ross and Francoise "Shantdeep" Roy
The journey to Being begins and ends right here... in this moment.
Satsang - A meeting in Love, a meeting in Truth.
You have heard the calling. An inexplicable yearning to go deeper into the unknown. This calling is the impulse from the ineffable for you to come home to your-Self. Satsang is a sacred opportunity to dive deeply into the direct recognition of who you are beyond the limitations of the conditioned mind, and ultimately to encounter life from this place-less place of unified Being.
Satsang is a sanskrit word that means "association with the highest Truth". These gatherings provide an opportunity to allow the walls of belief, opinion and interpretation to fall away and to simply rest in the timelessness of Being. In satsang we meet in an innocent way that allows silence to merge the meeting of two into the recognition of One. Satsang is a spontaneous flowing mixture of stillness, meditative self- inquiry, questions, insights and sharing. Nothing is scripted. Interactions effortlessly flow from silence and return into silence. Each meeting invites you to go beyond your conditioned ways of seeing, and helps to facilitate the direct recognition of who you are beyond the construct of thought created self. Satsang engages you on intuitive and energetic levels that silently work beyond the words that are spoken.
What is my role in coming to satsang?
No experience meditating or attending satsang is required. Everyone who attends satsang is encouraged to keep an open mind and Heart.
The afternoon will begin with a short period of silence followed by a guided meditation, Q & A, sharing circle and kirtan.
What is Kirtan?
* Kirtan is a very simple & powerful way to meditate. It's effortless & joyful; the music does the work for you as you flow with the melody & rhythm.
* The performers & the participants create the experience together.
* The chants are usually sung in Sanskrit. The ancient chants contain powerful renewing & transformative energy that helps us reconnect with the Divinity that resides within all of us.
* Singing is the heart of kirtan, and no one cares what you sound like. At a kirtan concert all voices merge together to become One Voice.
* "Kirtan is a means of finding our way back to the core of our Being, to our heart, and to our connection with each other." Ragani
"Beneath the surface play of the mind lies an endless ocean of love and peace waiting to be discovered. Let us look together and find what can never be lost" - Mark
