Relaxation Massage Therapeutic Massage
Enjoy Swedish techniques that vary from light to deep pressure, depending on what you prefer. De-stress and release tension from your mind and body. The nervous system holds stress and tension and through full body work, which can include gliding, petrissage, tapotement, friction, and vibration. Climb between sheets and allow your therapist to undrape specific parts so you feel comfortable, safe and secure as you surrender and release into a deep relaxation. Similar to relaxation soothing massage, your therapist will use Swedish techniques and after going through a series of tests and functional movement to determine if your pain or limitations is muscle, ligament, tendon or joint dysfunction, or a combination. Assist your healing and allow massage to be a tool to aid you back to pain-free movement and optimum range of motion.
Lymphatic Drainage, Scar tissue and Breast Massage Prenatal and Postnatal Massage
If you have ever had surgery or injury, you will be familiar with swelling and edema that can occur. Scar tissue, lymphatic drainage and breast massage are all techniques which require additional consent and clear communication from patient to therapist. Manual techniques are included for anyone who has felt restriction or painful range of motion because of scar tissue. All techniques are clearly explained, please ask any questions regarding this type of treatment. Mothers-to-Be or Brand- New- Mothers need self-care to adjust to the changes. Understanding what changes you have faced, your therapist will offer you safe, modified massage techniques to accommodate for your needs.
Cupping Massage & Body Work
Based on Chinese Medicine, it is a form of alternative medicine, this ancient healing art, in which local suction is created on the skin. Skin is drawn into the cup by creating a vacuum. Been used by health practitioners have for thousands of years. Glass cups were once used, however, your therapist will use silicone cups. As they are unbreakable and they can control the degree of suction depending on your preference. Suction of the cups pull skin and tissue up and away from the body decompression and pulling tissue outwear. Create space, boosts circulation, moves lymph, create space, tones skin and tissues and it feels fantastic, almost as if you received a deep tissue massage. Safe to use almost anywhere on the body. Cupping can be static (leaving the activated suction cup in one area for 1-3 minutes) or dynamic (gliding the suctioning cup along the body).

K-Taping Indian Head Massage
Taping is included if your therapist considers it beneficial in your healing, recovery or pain –management. K-tape is hypo-allergenic, fabric tape placed directly on your skin, to aid in muscle activation. K-tape has 3 purposes: 1) To reduce perception of pain. It overloads the pain receptors and essentially, the nervous system no longer perceives sensation as pain. 2) If muscles are long and ‘tired’ or weak, K-tape can be used to fire it up and remind the muscle fibres to fire and shorten, which will help in posture or rehabilitation. 3) If muscles are short and tight, K-tape is placed over the muscle to support its lengthened position and allow it to release over time. K-tape is intended to last 3-5 days and will be placed on the skin after the massage and the area is free of lubricant.

Price:
Without massage, $5.00-$15.00 for all taping (depends on what is required). No extra cost when incorporated with a massage treatment.
Indian Head Massage (IHM) is based on traditional Indian massage techniques. It involves work on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face using a variety of massage movements to relieve accumulated tension, stimulate circulation and restore joint mobility. Head massage revitalises the whole body, rebalancing the energy flow to the body and creating a feeling of peace and well-being. An excellent stress buster, both relaxing and uplifting, it is good for clearing the head and easing tense shoulders. Indian Head Massage can be done without oil through light clothing, so is perfect for corporate work. The routine you will learn is based on the Mehta method of Indian head massage, developed by Narendra Mehta who brought the formalised treatment to the West. In India where IHM is known as champissage you can receive a head massage almost anywhere.
